Are you Against Cliques or for them?
You’ve seen them in schools, churches, movies, sports, and other places and things in the world. It is a disease that spreads throughout the world. People are being judged every minute of their life, but people have been judged on whom they hang out with and where they come from. The stereotypes can be cruel things to people and they have to live their whole life down if they’re being bullied all the time for being who you are.
I think people like the idea of cliques because you can be with a group of people who has the same interest as you. Although you can be with people you relate to, some cliques clash into fights and they become enemies. Some of those cliques involve ex-best friends and for each one of those best friends they lost a great friend and they regret it. It stinks to have a best friend when they all your secrets and they know all about you and it just fades away once you enter middle school or high school.
I am totally, 100% against them. I have all different kinds of friends, intelligent ones, quiet ones, loud ones, funny ones, outgoing ones, and without them I wouldn’t be who I am now. They bring something special out in me and make me become a better person. Cliques would just be plain boring because you wouldn’t get a better variety of people you could know and become great friends in the future.

Is it Better to Use Mechanical or Wooden Pencils?
This seems to be a crazy topic for an article but, I have always used both mechanical and wooden pencils, but I’m not which one I like best. Mechanical pencils are definitely more expensive these days but are the easier to use? I have been using wooden pencils lately because lead for the mechanical pencils is even more expensive these days. Also when I use wooden pencils, I personally get bumps on my fingers (don’t ask why). What I really want to know is which is better?
The great thing about having mechanical pencils is that you don’t have to worry about having to sharpen your pencils during classes and annoying teachers. All you have to do is push down on the eraser and write. The downfalls of those kinds of pencils is that you never know when the lead is going to last the day or not. When it does it might be in the middle of a big test or in the middle of taking tons of notes for a huge exam. Mechanical pencils are getting more and more expensive and the economy is getting worse and worse to the point where parents can’t afford getting school supplies for their kids.
On the other hand, you could still use old, classic wooden pencils which I have been using for the past school year. I feel that wooden pencils are easier to use. They cost $0.99 a box. Although I have used mechanical pencils throughout my life, this year I started to use wooden ones because I always run out of lead then I don’t have a pencil so it’s not a good situation to be in. The only bad thing about wooden pencils is that teachers have continuously told us to not sharpen our pencils in the middle of class but what if the tip of the pencil breaks, then what do you do?

A Restaurant Review- Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse
I went one night with my family to a steakhouse near Christiana Mall, in Newark, DE. It is located in a shopping center with varieties of stores. When you first walk in you are pretty much surrounded with fake animals and helpful hostesses. I did like a lot of the things there, but some of the things that came along with the package of going to the restaurant I didn’t like.
The things that I liked are that the waiters and waitresses had names that went along with the theme of the restaurant. (The theme was like a hunter in the forest theme with all animals you would see). I also though that the service was pretty quick and fast and that can help people who are on the go and only have a certain amount of time to eat. They are also appreciative of tips and money the restaurant receives from your order.
The things I didn’t like about the restaurant are that the food is really fatty and greasy, so if you wanted something healthy don’t go there. When you sit at a table you can feel forks and napkins and other unmentionables under the table. Sometimes there is sticky stuff under there. Bugaboo Creek’s prices are also very high priced and they give you little servings on the meals. You never know what you’re going to get. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone because there are so much more restaurants out there that is so much better.
