Facebook Makes Relationships Go Bad!!!

Facebook has turned out to be the number 1 reason for break ups according to researchers. That may seem surprising to some but once you think about it it’s really not. There are conversations all over Facebook that start drama between couples. Sometimes it’s because of exes or because of girls or guys who don’t like the relationship. It has become an internet problem throughout the world.
I think that it’s ridiculous at how many people actually cause those problems. Just leave the couple alone. I know many people who broke up because of Facebook and I don’t think it’s fair to them because they were probably so close and one status or one comment could change everything. I feel so bad for those couples. They always say it’s for the best but it’s not because just a couple days ago we said how much in love you were in with the other person. One website shouldn’t change everything. You know you still have feelings for the person so just let it go.
People should just stay out of other couples business and get a life of their own. You don’t want people try to ruin your relationships so don’t ruin theirs. I think some of these comments and status could also be considered cyber bullying which is illegal in Delaware so why even get in that much trouble anyway. It’s just not worth it.

Reality TV and Over-Exaggerating Parents!!!

Almost every teenager watches reality TV shows. Adults always say that these shows are brainwashing us. Are they just over-exaggerating? I mean they try to look out for the best for us but banning us from watching some of our favorite shows is a little too much.
I think they are taking this too seriously sometimes. Not all shows are horrible. Some shows teach life lessons to young teens and they sometimes send out messages as to what we should do and what we shouldn’t do for the world and for ourselves. Some of the shows show what people are doing in the world or about different lifestyles.
I also agree with parents when they do over-exaggerate when its shows not appropriate for young kids. I think that some shows are rated a little too low for what they actually should be rated. Even though they beep words out, we still know what they are saying. They mind as well just not beep them out. Although if parents do want to catch their kids watching a show they told them not to and they start hearing the beeps, it’s a great way to know that the child shouldn’t be watching that. Sometimes parents do what’s best for us and don’t want us to get in trouble later into the future.
I think that parents are just trying to keep us safe. Kids just need to stop talking back if they know it’s not appropriate. If your parents tell you not to watch something because they think its inappropriate just let them know that it’s not and it’s about something normal and safe and won’t have an affect over your life.

You're Being Watched

Just think, every time you log onto the computer someone is watching you. Your every move is being watched by some Red Clay consultant. You really don’t have any privacy what so ever when you log into the school computers. So when you play a game, they can see what game you’re playing. When you type something, they can see what you typed. Is it ethical for them to do that?
I think that they shouldn’t be able to do that. I t kind of invades our privacy as students. The people who watch us we probably don’t even know. It kind of freaks me out knowing that every move I do is being watched even though the people who are watching me barely know me. I still would be kind of freaked out even if my family or friends were watching what I do.
I think it is okay for them to that as well. Students shouldn’t really have anything to watch or anything that would get them into trouble. Another reason is if a person writes about how they’re going to beat someone up or they’re going to kill themselves then Red Clay should then step in and stop that person. That is a reason why I feel safe in school.

Abortion is not the Answer!

Young teens have been getting pregnant all of the country and their first instinct is abortion. There friends and parents say they’re supportive, but are they really? People around the country have been talking about it. People argue over well its right or not and the arguments sometimes get out of hand. Is it really that bad?
I think abortion is a bad idea. The way I think of it is that you’re killing a baby inside of you. The baby is human life and you’re killing it. I think that too many people think its okay. I think that shouldn’t even be on the list of choices. If you couldn’t handle the parenting then you shouldn’t have gotten pregnant then. There is always adoption there are plenty of people in the world who would love to adopt a child.
In conclusion, I think that abortion is the most horrible thing. I feel if you can’t handle it then give up for adoption or ask for help from family members or friends. There should always be someone who will stick by your side and always remember that.

Violence is on the Loose!!

The United States has been named the number one country with the most people who have a possession of a gun. There are 90 people with a gun out of 100. The second country with the most is India. In every 100 people, there are 4 people who own a gun. The question is: Are we as or more violent than other foreign countries?
I think our country is very violent. On the news, they announce about 10 people dead everyday. I think this is a big crisis for our country. Some of the reasons for these murders are sometimes caused by riots or protests. As Americans, we do have a right to protest and say whatever we want. This may cause problems with violence and deaths. Some of these protests involve gay rights and people who think they deserve rights don’t try to mess up every possible chance from discouraging them from protesting.
As for other countries, they don’t seem as violent as our country. I don’t think any country can really compare. I think it’s because we are so used to violence in the world that when there something violent happening in another country we kind of avoid it and we’ve been there and done that. Either way I think we’re the most violent country in the world.

Time for Homework

Everyday teachers give homework, but why? Is it really worth our time as teens? Half or maybe more than half of students probably hate homework with a passion. Do students really need homework? Teachers tell their students that it’s the best way for them to practice and expand their education. I sort of agree. I have an opinion for both sides of this issue.
I think that homework is a great thing. Homework can help you practice the basics of what you learned that day. I think that as students we can become more aware of what we learned and how we’re going to use that as we get older. People complain about homework all the time. It’s really not that bad if you manage your time right. I sometimes wish there was more.
I can understand why some people hate homework. There is always an up and down to every situation. The downs are pretty consistent. Students usually say they have sports or they have dance and they won’t get home until late. That wouldn’t leave enough time to get a good night sleep. I guess it’s a logical reason but I do sports too and I get my homework done in good enough time to get a good night sleep.
What I’m saying is that homework is a good thing. It’s a key to learning and expanding your knowledge. It’s really not worth complaining. Just always do your homework.

Texting While Driving

A lot of people have been in dying car accidents lately. People have also gone through depression or they are sad all the time because some they loved died in a car accident. The reasons you ask seem very consistent. One of those reasons is the people are texting while driving and cause an accident. It is probably one of the biggest issues that that the country is having problems with.
I think that people should ban texting while driving or enforce a new law to prevent people from doing it. I know a couple people who were involved in accidents like this and it’s not easy to go through. Seeing articles in the newspaper that have to do with this issue make me realize how much people are so careless these days. I think that we should head this era of killings and start really caring.
My favorite saying I heard is ‘Text while driving if you want to go to heaven.” This means that texting while driving is a very dangerous situation and if you want to die then go right ahead and text. Just know that if you don’t kill yourself you might kill someone else who didn’t deserve to die.
