Time for Homework

Everyday teachers give homework, but why? Is it really worth our time as teens? Half or maybe more than half of students probably hate homework with a passion. Do students really need homework? Teachers tell their students that it’s the best way for them to practice and expand their education. I sort of agree. I have an opinion for both sides of this issue.
I think that homework is a great thing. Homework can help you practice the basics of what you learned that day. I think that as students we can become more aware of what we learned and how we’re going to use that as we get older. People complain about homework all the time. It’s really not that bad if you manage your time right. I sometimes wish there was more.
I can understand why some people hate homework. There is always an up and down to every situation. The downs are pretty consistent. Students usually say they have sports or they have dance and they won’t get home until late. That wouldn’t leave enough time to get a good night sleep. I guess it’s a logical reason but I do sports too and I get my homework done in good enough time to get a good night sleep.
What I’m saying is that homework is a good thing. It’s a key to learning and expanding your knowledge. It’s really not worth complaining. Just always do your homework.
